At RJS Planning we have a successful track record of winning planning appeals within a wide range of London Boroughs. We have also succeeded in obtaining planning permission for a number of clients by way of re-submitting planning applications for revised or alternative proposals.
Our practice represents a wide range of clients at appeal and has extensive and successful experience of the Written Representation, Hearing and Public Inquiry appeal types. We can assess the chances of success, provide advice on the strategy for the appeal process, prepare and present the appeal case and lodge the appeal on your behalf.
If appealing your refusal does not appear prudent, we often recommend that applicants consider making a re-application to address the reasons for refusal. Applicants can usually submit a re-application free of charge if they do so within 12 months of the original decision. Our strategy often leads us into a dialogue with the local planning department in order to appraise the reasons for refusal. Because of our strong links with various planning departments across London and the South East, we usually find we can negotiate a compromise, which suits both our client and the Local Authority.
