Erection of entrance gates and boundary walls & railings
In an effort to protect their property against potential intruders, this family were looking to secure their property by erecting a set of entrance gates, walls and railings. Despite appointing an architect to prepare a high specification design, the Council refused the application based on the perceived negative impact of the new frontage upon the streetscene. The success of RJS PLANNING’S householder appeal meant that the owner was able to construct the gates in the form proposed and the family now feel much more secure within their home.
